Terms of service

These terms apply to the use of Clearcost (“the service”), provided by A.L Associates, luiksestraat 216017CC Thorn (Chamber of Commerce 96944072), the Netherlands. By using the service you agree to them.

1. The service

The service helps online stores with customer service (AI-drafted replies that a person reviews and sends), and shows profit, advertising and product dashboards based on the accounts you connect. Features may change over time.

2. Your account and connected services

You are responsible for keeping your login safe and for who in your team has access. You may only connect Gmail, Shopify and advertising accounts that you are authorised to use. You can disconnect them at any time.

3. AI drafts and your responsibility

Drafts are written by an AI model and can contain mistakes. Replies are only sent when a member of your team approves them, and budget changes only when you apply them. You remain responsible for what is sent to your customers and for changes made to your ad accounts.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the service for spam, unlawful content, or to access accounts or data you are not allowed to access. We may suspend access in case of misuse or a security risk.

5. Data and privacy

How we handle data is described in our privacy policy. For personal data of your customers we act as your processor; on request we sign a data processing agreement.

6. Fees

Fees, if any, are agreed separately. Unpaid invoices may lead to suspension of the service.

7. Availability and liability

We do our best to keep the service available and correct, but provide it “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the event that caused the damage, and we are not liable for indirect damage such as lost profit.

8. Ending

You can stop using the service at any time. After ending, we delete your data as described in the privacy policy.

9. Law

Dutch law applies. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands.
